Traditionally, our weekly newsletter includes the names of parents and family volunteers. Because of you, our amazing OLV parents, this week will be a little different. We are so proud to announce that for the 2023 Halloween Festival nearly every single OLV family volunteered! In fact, with the help of the families of a few former student’s, the festival saw more volunteers than the total number of families enrolled at OLV! This level of unity and cooperation is truly unprecedented and we cannot thank you enough.
All of you took on various roles, from designing new and exciting games, to baking and plating delicious treats for the cake walk, decorating the venue, serving food with a smile, helping out at table games, washing dishes, donating candy and prizes, assisting with clean-up, emptying trash, and even mopping the floors. Your efforts ensured that the Halloween festival was a tremendous success. OLV thanks each and every one of you for your dedication. While all of our volunteers are a treasured gift, we want to send an extra special thank you to April Andrews for coordinating the 2023 Halloween Festival. April's dedication and leadership were truly remark-able, and we are grateful for her hard work as well as her husband Scott’s! We also want to extend extra thank you to OLV's very own pre-K teacher Sarah Eppihimer, for managing the kitchen and cooking such a wonderful meal that brought our community together. Sarah’s contributions were invaluable, and we couldn't have pulled off this event without her!
While excellent teachers and staff play a significant role in OLV's success, your involvement as parents is just as crucial. Together, OLV will continue its tradition of not only fostering academic excellence but also sharing in the spirit of giving and friendship.
THANK YOU for making the OLV Halloween Festival such a spooktacular success!”
