I am honored to be able to serve Our Lady of the Valley as Principal.
Teaching has been my vocation in service to the church and community for over 25 years. In Alaska I taught at local public and private schools. I served as an Elementary teacher, Upper School teacher and Principal at Holy Rosary Academy. Afterwards, I served as Headmaster at Chesterton Academy in Annapolis, MD. Additionally, I have taught as a contact teacher for IDEA homeschool/Charter school; and in Europe, teaching the Cambridge curriculum at the ISBW Swiss International school in Germany.
My undergraduate work was at Georgetown University in the School of Foreign Service, after which I served as a Marine Cryptologic Intelligence Officer. I received my Master of Arts in Education focusing my graduate thesis on the effects of reading from digital technology on reading comprehension for elementary and middle school students.
I look forward to engaging with all our families and seek to lead Our Lady of the Valley in faithfulness to our Catholic faith and academic rigor. May we build our community together as we grow in love for God and neighbor, through Our Lady of the Valley’s intercession.
