It all began a few days early with students in grades 1 and 2 making center pieces for for the event. Mrs. Benshetler and Mrs. Eppihimer's kindergarten and preschool classes entertained the audience with their whimsical Thankgiving poem, alphabet, and turkey song, bringing smiles and giggles to all.
The first and second graders in Mrs. Lund's class retold the Thanksgiving Story in a coral reading setting while spelling the word "THANKSGIVING." They were dressed in traditional thanksgiving costumes which enhanced the telling of this traditional American holiday.
The traditional soup luncheon was donated by staff and parents and then served by PVO and faculty to be enjoyed by children and families. Older students decorated and set the tables with the table centerpieces created by the younger students.
